Smart Meters

Smart meters are electronic devices that record energy consumption, voltage levels, currents, power factor, and other parameters. They gather this data to provide consumers with better insight into their energy consumption behavior and to enable electricity distribution companies to monitor the system and send accurate invoices based on actual usage.

Digital Meters

Digital meters display energy usage. They also record various parameters such as real-time values, maximum energy usage, voltage, power factor, reactive power consumption, etc. For instance, they record energy consumption at peak and off-peak hours.

Data Collectors (DCU)

With smart and semi-smart remote access systems becoming more prevalent, and as electricity distribution companies are required to use high-performance and low-cost systems to read meters remotely, a remote access modem for reading meters remotely is considered an optimal solution.

Applications
